You may ask yourself the question, “ What Is The Treasure Of The Ages ” , and “ What Is The Harris Mystery ”? These questions have been asked of many people since the early 1900’s but the answers to these questions have never been revealed. Some say that the Treasure Of The Ages that is guarded by the Harris Mystery is the never recovered Arc of the Covenant. Some speculate that the Treasure of the Ages is actually the mythical treasure amassed and lost by the Knights Templar of old Europe. An even more plausible theory than this has been put forth by highly confused world scholars that the Treasure Of The Ages guarded by the Harris Mystery is actually Confederate Gold buried by Confederate Officers for future use after the Confederacy supposedly became victorious. The Confederacy of course did not win the Civil War and many Confederate Officers took their secrets with them to the grave. Legend has it that one such Confederate Officer entrusted his secret to a wise and noble African-American slave who served him faithfully until the time of the officer’s unseemly death. Some say that the Confederate Officer and the female slave were too close and that many nearby southern neighbors complained about the favored relationship. The Civil War was enough of a distraction that attention of the townsfolk was fortunately averted and the Confederate Officer and his slave passed many secrets between them. Although the Slave’s name and the Confederate Officer’s name has been lost in the sands of time, recorded history does document the descendant of this slave who was named Queen.
